Hazwoper 40 Training is a requirement for all workers that are performing activities which expose them to hazardous substances. The Hazwoper 40 Hour course covers topics outlined in 29 CFR 1910.120.

Hazwoper 40 Training is designed for workers that are actively involved in clean up operations, storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous substances.

Topics in the Hazwoper 40 Training course include protection against harzardous chemicals, elimination of hazardous chemicals, safety of workers and the enviroment and OSHA regulations. This is accepted by OSHA for the osha 40 requirements and is OSHA compliant for 40 hour training.

Please Note:  Trainees in the hazwoper 40 hour course must have additional hands-on training in the donning, doffing and the use of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for their specific jobsite in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120.

Workers must also have 40 hrs of initial training before they may enter the site and at least three days of actual field experience under a trained, seasoned supervisor.

The three days of field experience under a trained, experienced supervisor is the responsibility of the student employer or potential employer.  The Hazwoper 40 Training taken here will prepare you for the field time.

This OSHA 40 course has been approved for 40 Hours.

Course Pre-Requisite

There are no pre-requisite requirements for this hazwoper 40 training.  Upon successful completion of the cour, you will be able to print a certificate.

Testing

All module quizzes require a minimum score of 70 to proceed forward in the hazwoper 40 hour course.  The final exam also requires a minimum score of 70 to receive a certificate of completion.  The final exam may be taken three times if necessary.
